Andris Krūmiņš, member of the board in Lafivents Ltd., and Nikolajs Bogdanovs, head of building management and automation design, mastered the KBR (Germany) course and were certified in monitoring and the data analysis of consumed energy, using KBR equipment and Visual Energy 4 software. Visual Energy 4 software corresponds with the consumed energy monitoring system (energy management) described in the DIN EN ISO 50001 and DIN EN 16247-1 standards.
The department of building automation will provide the installation of this kind of consumed energy monitoring system in construction projects and already completed buildings. KBR equipment will be used for energy management of the ventilation and heat supply in building C of Vidzeme hospital. The results will provide us with more precise feedback to better manage the energy usage of the climate control equipment.
