As every year we went for an expedition. The main goal is to have a good time with colleagues and get to know a place in Latvia and nice people who live there, to support their good works and intentions.
This year we visited Jelgava. We were wellcomed by director Astra Kacena at the Jelgava Student Theater.
An exciting story about growing shiitake mushrooms and a delicious lunch at Jānis Volksons at the shiitake mushroom farm "Trubenieki".
In the park of the FUTURE, we were welcomed by three enthusiastic young people presenting their activities that fascinate them - industrial design, helicopter repair, production of MILZU products and growing of an apple garden. It was a pleasure to ride in retro cars for local delicacies and race with mopeds. We also tried our skills in the industrial design master class - we made a very special table with our own hands, that will be with us in our meeting room.
Musical guest was Nils Īle, who managed to move us with percussion and jams, but on the way back we visited another special mushroom farm, a local truffle farm.
